L-Based Acro

L-basing

L- basing includes static poses, acro yoga flows, and slackro.  Incorporating flexibility and strength, L basing offers a chance for pairs or trios to work together to create beautiful static poses and string them together into flows.

This is where most new acrobats begin, and we generally recommend a beginner L basing class as your first class.

Dynamic L-basing

Dynamic L-basing consists of pops and whips. These are faster, flashier movements involving disconnection and swings. These motions focus on power and precision within a pair.

Dynamic L-basing is a great place for those looking for new adrenaline filled shenanigans.

Thai massage

Often used as recovery for either of the above activities, Thai massage offers a chance for you to both give and receive massage and gentle assistance through slow and deliberate movements.

Give this a try for a slower and more relaxing addition to your acro practice.

Standing Acro

Counter Balances

Great for first-timers, counter balances are generally one’s intro to standing acro.  These poses look impressive, and can be done with same sized pairs, as well as pairs with size differences, and trios too– great for the ‘gram!

Standing Partner Acro

With every kind of link you could imagine, standing acro is a big bucket that contains foot to hand, hand to hand, and many other static poses (and dynamic transitions) too!

Standing acro is great for those who have had previous dance, cheer, or lifting experience.

Dance Acro (Adagio)

Adagio is the intersection of dance and acro.  If you’ve done swing dancing or ballet, you will find many similar lifts here.  Adagio has slow and fast-paced movements, and covers a wide range of levels so everybody can participate!
