Suggested First Class

For movers of all backgrounds (including none at all!), your first visit to the studio is going to be a blast.  We recommend reading through the options here before deciding on a class.  If you have any questions, feel free to reach out– we’re always happy to discuss your background and goals, and help choose a class that fits your needs!

  • Choosing a class
    • L basing
      • L- basing includes acro yoga, pops, and whips.  Incorporating flexibility and strength, L basing offers a chance for pairs or trios to work together to create beautiful static poses and string them together into flows before adding more dynamic movements.  This is where most new acrobats begin, and we generally recommend a beginner L basing class as your first class.
    • Standing
      • Standing acrobatics is made up of counterbalances, dance lifts (adagio), foot to hand, and hand to hand.  There are many different static poses and dynamic transitions depending on your level.  This is a great option for folks who want a little bit more of a challenge in their acro, or who have a background in cheer or dance.
    • Solo
      • If you would rather work alone, there are acro-adjacent activities available to you as well.  Handstands, flexibility, balance, and strength training can help your acro, your sense of proprioception, and your general fitness.
